Privacy Policy
Short version: this is a one-person site. I don't collect your name, email, or anything that would let me identify you as a specific person. What I do collect, and what happens to it, is below.
What I Collect
When you visit, my analytics setup logs basic traffic data: the page visited, a rough idea of where you came from (search, direct, social), country or region, browser type, and screen size. No name. No email. No account. Nothing that ties a visit to a specific person.
Cookies
The analytics setup uses a minimal first-party cookie to distinguish return visits from new ones. No third-party tracking cookies, no cross-site advertising networks. If you browse with cookies off, the site still works.
Analytics
I use a privacy-focused analytics service. It gives me aggregate numbers: how many visits, which posts got read, roughly which countries, which devices. Individual visits aren't tied to any identity.
Affiliate Links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click through and buy something, I earn a commission. I don't collect or store any data about which links you click. For more on how the editorial side handles affiliate relationships, see the editorial policy page.
Data Retention
Aggregate traffic data rolls over on a rolling 12-month basis. I don't retain individual session logs. If you email me, I keep your message only as long as it takes to respond and close the question.
Your Rights
If you're in the EU or California, you have the right to ask what data exists about you, request a correction, or ask for deletion. Since I don't hold personally identifiable records, there's usually nothing to find. To ask anyway, use the address on the contact page.
Contact for Privacy Questions
Privacy questions go to the same address as anything else: the contact page.
